Company Overview
Liftango is a B2B/B2G transport technology company operating across a range of markets, primarily; enterprise carpooling, public on-demand buses, and campus transport.
Project Context
Our US team had just secured another major campus shuttle project with Netflix. To capitalise on this momentum, we needed to build a campaign targeting US corporate leads.

Building the calculator
Our US Sales Manager and several external industry experts gathered the data for an ROI calculator comparing the benefits of different transport schemes, including Liftango's carpooling programme.
They provided me with the calculations in a spreadsheet, which I then needed to convert into an interactive calculator.
I already had basic JavaScript knowledge, but this was an ideal opportunity to use AI tools to help fill the gaps. I used ChatGPT and Claude to convert the spreadsheet data into JS calculations, making sure I understood every line of code as I built it.
I then tested the results manually against the spreadsheet and used AI to debug the code. This was a really interesting use case for how AI could expand my capabilities while teaching me new skills simultaneously.

Turning it into a campaign
The calculator was hosted on the Liftango website, where I built a landing page to target specific keywords.
I also added a downloadable whitepaper, shown below, to explain how the calculator worked. This was used to target a segment of US corporate leads and capture contact information.

I designed and built this landing page for the calculator and whitepaper.

Selected layouts from the whitepaper.
Results
Feedback from the first wave of users at the ACT conference in New Orleans was extremely positive, with users noting that the substantial savings shown could be a great conversation starter with decision-makers.
